BELLEVUE, Wash., Jan. 11, 2021 — In a year of extremes in the trucking industry, PacLease continued to grow in 2020, adding 13 new franchise locations while capturing increased market share in the full-service leasing space.

“We’re glad 2020 is in the rear-view mirror, but looking back, I couldn’t be more proud of what we accomplished,” said Ken Roemer, president of PACCAR Leasing. “We continued to expand our footprint and demonstrate great flexibility in helping our customers throughout the year. The unique challenges of the past year brought out the best in our PacLease team. I was truly humbled by their efforts.”

According to Roemer, PacLease sees continued momentum, building off a very “solid 4th quarter.” “We celebrated our 40th anniversary last year and PacLease is well positioned to continue growing with our customers, providing medium- and heavy-duty Kenworths and Peterbilts. The new locations we added bring more sales and service capability to our customers. We now have more than 450 locations and that helps in servicing our national accounts, while giving local fleets an opportunity to work with PacLease for the first time.”

New PacLease franchise locations include:

  • Miller Auto Leasing: Leesport, PA
  • TLG Leasing: Portage, IN
  • Palmer Leasing: Sellersburg, IN
  • Lucky’s Lease: South Royalton, VT
  • Lucky’s Lease: Colchester, VT
  • Murphy Leasing: Mount Pearl, NL
  • Jackson Group Leasing: Pocatello, ID
  • Jackson Group Leasing: Ontario, OR
  • MHC Truck Leasing: Des Moines, IA
  • Rihm Leasing: Alberta Lea, MN
  • AIM Leasing Company: Columbus, OH
  • AIM Leasing Company: Richmond, VA
  • AIM Leasing Company: Troy, OH

During 2020, PacLease rolled out several technology initiatives to help support franchises and their service departments. “The goal continues to maximize uptime for our customers and the technology we continue to develop helps bring that to the forefront,” said Roemer.

What’s more, Roemer said the advent of electric trucks is now becoming very real. “It’s no longer out in the future. It’s happening, and we’re ready,” he said. “Our relationship with Faith Technologies/Schneider Electric for charging solutions is a great example of that. We began the process of leasing electric Kenworths and Peterbilts and have developed a turnkey solution for our customers. We’re very excited about the future and how we can bring zero-emission technology to our customers in a complete package. The future is upon us.”
