PacLease in Dallas Awarded with Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities Award

BELLEVUE, Wash., March. 11, 2026 – During a recognition dinner held in Dallas on February 25, the Dallas branch of PACCAR Leasing (PacLease) was honored for its leadership in curbing emissions across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The branch received a Clean Cities Award from the Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities Coalition, an organization dedicated to improving air quality and reducing dependence on traditional fossil fuels through the adoption of alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies. PacLease was the only transportation services company recognized with an award.
“We’re honored to receive this award from the Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities Coalition,” said Nathan Kopf, who is general manager for PacLease company stores in Texas. “We offer full solutions to our customers, and that includes alternative fueled EV units. There is still a lot of interest in EV trucks from environmentally-conscious companies and we have the Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks, along with lease and rental programs, to ensure a smooth transition.”
PacLease in Dallas has been at the forefront of deploying electric vehicles (EVs) in the region. In March 2023, the branch leased its first Class 8 EV trucks – two Peterbilt Model 579EV day cabs – to Truck King. PacLease also offers two rental EV units out of Dallas, a Peterbilt Model 220EV box truck and a Kenworth T680E day cab. PacLease Dallas remains the only leasing facility in the metroplex offering a Class 8 EV rental truck.
To further support customers electrification efforts, PacLease invested in two fast-charging pedestals – one located in Dallas and the other at its sister location in Grand Prairie. These chargers power rental units and are available to lease customers who may not yet have their own charging infrastructure in place.
